Chillicothe Chamber announces theme for this year's holiday parade

CHILLICOTHE, Mo. - The Chillicothe Area Chamber of Commerce has announced the theme for this year’s 78th Annual Holiday Parade: "Peace on Earth."

The parade will take place on Saturday, November 23, at 10 a.m. in downtown Chillicothe. This theme encourages the community to reflect on peace and goodwill while celebrating the holiday season.

Businesses, organizations, youth groups, and families are invited to participate by submitting their parade entries by November 8.

Nominations are also open for the parade’s Grand Marshal, honoring someone who embodies peace and community service. Nominations must be submitted by October 11.
