City of Trenton adds more safety measures at intersection

TRENTON, Mo. - The city of Trenton has recently added a new stop sign on southbound Cedar Street, at the intersection of 10th Street.

City Administrator Ron Urton discussed an interesting reason about the city and why the sign was added to the street.

Because of these angles, sometimes it can be difficult to navigate through some intersections in the city.

Urton mentioned that while there haven't been many accidents due to the angles, there have been a lot of close calls.

The importance of safety in Trenton, and adding the stop sign will help keep motorists and others safe.
