MARYVILLE, Mo. - Mosaic Medical Center in Maryville, in partnership with local organizations, is hosting a suicide awareness event next Wednesday, at 7 p.m., inside Bearcat Arena.
This free event is open to all Northwest Missouri State University students and the community. The keynote speaker will be Drew Robinson, a former Texas Rangers draft pick who survived a suicide attempt in 2020.
Megan Jennings, Development Officer at St. Francis, says Drew now uses his platform to raise awareness about the importance of mental health.
This event aims to bring attention to suicide prevention and encourage open conversations around mental health.KXCV-KRNW
