Hy-Vee named one of the best grocery stores in U.S.

WEST DES MOINES, Iowa - Hy-Vee has been named the Best Grocery Store in America, according to USA TODAY’s 10 Best Readers’ Choice Awards.

This is the first time Hy-Vee has claimed the top spot, after previously ranking in the top three. The grocery chain was also voted America's Best Grocery Store for Produce and ranked number two for Prepared Food.

USA TODAY’s 10 Best Readers’ Choice Awards are decided by a panel of experts who nominate top stores, with public voting determining the winners.
