JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - The Missouri Department of Conservation is sending out surveys to over 200,000 hunters and trappers as part of its annual effort to gather feedback on wildlife management.
These surveys, sent via email and mail, cover topics like hunting regulations, harvest data, and hunter satisfaction. MDC Officials emphasize that public feedback is crucial for decision-making on hunting and trapping regulations.
Surveys will be sent to permit holders for species such as waterfowl, deer, and black bears. The MDC urges recipients to participate, noting that response rates have dropped significantly in recent years.
Data collected helps shape future regulations and wildlife population management. For more information, visit mdc.mo.gov.
