Maryville Chamber looking for this year's Grinch

MARYVILLE, Mo. - The Maryville Chamber of Commerce is once again seeking nominations for the "Grinch of Maryville" from local non-profits.

Organizations can nominate a director, employee, board member, volunteer, or anyone connected to the group. Nominations are open until October 18 and can be submitted through the Chamber’s website.

From the nominees, four will be selected for a community vote. Voting will take place at Walmart, where each dollar donated counts as a vote.

The nominee who raises the most money will be named the Grinch of Maryville, with all proceeds benefiting the non-profit they represent.

The Grinch will also serve as the Grand Marshal of the Maryville Downtown Christmas Parade on December 6.
