Pony Express Museum gearing up for Pumpkinfest 2024

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - Pumpkinfest 2024 is returning to St. Joseph for its 28th year. This annual event will take place October 4-6 on the grounds of the Pony Express Museum, extending to Patee Park.

Highlights include the lighting of Pumpkin Mountain at 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday nights and a Halloween parade at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 5, with prizes for the children’s costume contest.

The festival features live entertainment on the Main Stage, including the Knobtown Skiffle Band, the Phil Vandel Band, and more.

Visitors can also enjoy vendor booths, food trucks, a petting zoo, and kids’ activities like decorating baby pumpkins. For more information and a full event schedule, visit ponyexpress.org/pumpkinfest.
