Registration now open for Leadership Maryville program

MARYVILLE, Mo. - Registration is now open for Leadership Maryville, a program run by the Greater Maryville Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the University of Missouri Extension of Nodaway County.

Established in 1986, the program is designed to develop leadership skills in both current and future community leaders while addressing local challenges and fostering relationships.

Leadership Maryville runs from January to July and includes a full-day retreat followed by six half-day sessions covering topics like diversity, local government, healthcare, and economic development.

Participants will also take a trip to Jefferson City for Great Northwest Day and complete a community project.

Applications are due by Dec. 15, and the program costs $500, with a discounted rate of $400 for Chamber members. To apply, visit maryvillechamber.com.
