St. Joseph Animal Control and Rescue closed Saturday

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - St. Joseph Animal Control and Rescue will participate in an offsite adoption event this Saturday at Civic Center Park, from 1 to 6 p.m.

During the event, the animal shelter will be closed to the public. An Animal Control Officer will be on duty to handle animal-related emergencies, and residents can reach the officer by calling 816-271-4877.

Regular shelter operations will resume on Sunday. For more information about the adoption event, contact St. Joseph Animal Control and Rescue at 816-271-4877.
