a hospital room

SAVANNAH, Mo. - A UTV wreck injured three people over the weekend.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says 30-year-old Austin Cook, of Savannah, was driving the UTV while 28-year-old Kayla Whitmer of St. Joseph and 34-year-old Courtney Barron of Savannah were passengers.

The crash occurred while the UTV doing donuts in a private parking lot, south of Route D, about 8 miles north of Savannah.

The UTV flipped around 11 p.m. last Friday, seriously injuring Whitmer and Barron, while Cook suffered moderate injuries. All three were taken to Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph.
