ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - Registration is now open for the 2025 Great Plains Grower Conference, happening January 9-11 in St. Joseph.

The three-day event draws vegetable, fruit, flower, and specialty crop growers from across the region, including Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, South Dakota, and Nebraska.

In a press release, Denice Ferguson, an agricultural business specialist with the University of Missouri Extension, says the conference attracts around 400 growers who explore the latest trends and practices in the industry.

The event kicks off with pre-conference workshops on January 9th, followed by educational sessions and a trade show on January 10-11.

The conference also includes grower association meetings, a Growers Innovation Competition, and networking events like a pizza party. For more details and to register, visit greatplainsgrowersconference.org.
