CHILLICOTHE, Mo. - The City of Chillicothe is thrilled to welcome back the CPKC Holiday Train on Thanksgiving Day, November 28. The train is set to arrive around 2:45 p.m. near the Lowe’s parking lot.
Now in its 26th year, the CPKC Holiday Train has raised over 24 million dollars and over five million pounds of food. This year’s theme, “CPKC Has Heart,” focuses on improving heart health through nutrition.
The event kicks off at 3 p.m. with a free concert featuring American Authors and KT Tunstall performing from the train’s brightly decorated stage.
Attendees are encouraged to bring heart-healthy food items or monetary donations, with proceeds going to the House of Prayer in Chillicothe.
