Amazonia, Mo. - The Missouri State Highway Patrol says a vehicle crash ended in flames in Andrew County this week. 46-year-old Martin Kinni, of Overland Park, Kansas, was driving his 2011 Infiniti SUV southbound on I-29, near I-229.

Nearing mile marker 57 at 11-35 P-M Monday, Kinni attempted to overtake another vehicle, when he accidently traveled off of the east side of the roadway.

Fighting to get back onto the roadway, Kinni's vehicle then slides off of the western side, before striking a cement barrier and an overhead sign. With the vehicle haulting east, it finally burst into flames.

Kinni, who was wearing a seatbelt, was transported to Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph.
