MDC offices to close opening weekend of firearms deer season

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - The Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) will close its regional offices during the opening weekend of firearms deer season, November 16 and 17.

However, staff will be available at Chronic Wasting Disease mandatory sampling stations and through the MDC Call Center at 573-751-4115. Hunters can also submit questions via the MO Hunting app feedback form.

For details on mandatory sampling locations, check the 2024 Deer and Turkey Hunting Regulations booklet or visit the MDC website. MDC offices will resume regular hours on Monday, November 18.
