ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - The University of Missouri Extension is hosting free tax workshops across the state in December aimed at helping farmers, ranchers, and landowners understand recent tax changes and how to work effectively with tax professionals.
Topics include updates on the Corporate Transparency Act, retirement and Social Security planning, Section 179 and depreciation, conservation tax, and expiring tax codes.
The workshops will be presented virtually to multiple locations, and participants can also attend remotely. The session for our listening area will be held on December 4 in St. Joseph from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.
Sessions are also scheduled for December 3rd from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in Bolivar, Higginsville, Lincoln, Moberly, Ozark, and Potosi, and December 4 from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. in Ava, Cole Camp, Jefferson City, Marshall, Pineville, Poplar Bluff, and Union.
