Maryville woman seriously injured in wreck with deer

CONCEPTION JUNCTION, Mo. - The Missouri State Highway Patrol says a deer collision seriously injured a Maryville woman.

The Patrol says 49-year-old Holly Smiley was driving a 2010 Nissan Cube on Highway 136, just one mile north of Conception Junction. At 6:55 a.m. Thursday, the Nissan struck a deer in the road near 300th Street.

Smiley, who was wearing a seatbelt, was taken to Mosaic Medical Center - Maryville.
