MARYVILLE, Mo. - Nate Blackford, President of Mosaic Medical Center in Maryville, has announced in an email that he will step down from his role on October 30, to pursue other career opportunities.
In a message to caregivers, Blackford reflected on his half a decade of leadership, highlighting accomplishments such as a 50% revenue growth and a Leapfrog “A” safety rating three years in a row.
Blackford took on the role back in April 2019. Under Blackford’s leadership, the hospital also earned a spot in the Chartis Top 100 Community Hospitals in 2023.
He praised the team’s efforts in expanding services, growing mental health care, and strengthening partnerships. No word yet on what Blackford will do next.
