COLUMBIA, Mo. - The University of Missouri Extension is hosting its annual Pearls of Production conference, designed to provide hands-on livestock farming education for women.
This year's event will be split into two parts, with a virtual session over Zoom on Tuesday, October 29, and an in-person session on Saturday, November 2, in Columbia.
Participants will learn essential skills, including beef genetics, pasture management, and handling small ruminants.
New this year is the Future Pearls of Agriculture program, where children aged 5 to 12 can participate in interactive agricultural activities. For more information and to register, visit extension.missouri.edu/events.
