SHENANDOAH, Iowa - The Iowa Department of Natural Resources, in partnership with Optimal Aquafeed and the Page County Conservation Board, will stock around 800 rainbow trout at RAPP Park near Shenandoah Saturday at 9 a.m.
This marks the fourth year of the program, offering a unique fishing opportunity in southwest Iowa. Anglers 16 and older need a valid fishing license and trout fee to participate, with a daily limit of five trout per angler.
Kids 15 and under can fish with a licensed adult, but must limit their catch to one daily limit unless they pay the trout fee, allowing them to catch their own limit of five trout.
