ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - The Friends of the St. Joseph Public Library are hosting their annual book sale at the Downtown Library this week.
The sale kicks off with a Friends Only Preview on Thursday, October 17 from 2 to 3 p.m., and opens to the public after that. Items include hardcover books, paperbacks, DVDs, and CDs.
The sale continues Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., with everything half-price on Sunday. Next Monday will be a “bag and box day,” where shoppers can fill a bag or a box.
Non-profits and teachers can get free books from 4 to 8 p.m. with proof of tax exemption or school ID. Proceeds benefit library programs and literacy efforts.
