KEARNEY, Mo. - The tragic deaths of two Kearney, Missouri, teens and the serious injury of another in a wrong-way crash on Interstate 29 over the weekend have drawn support from singer Billie Eilish.
Kole Cunningham and Lucy Yeates were killed, and Aubrey Yeates was seriously injured while traveling to Omaha early Sunday to attend Eilish’s concert.
The crash occurred when a driver, fleeing law enforcement after reportedly kidnapping a one-year-old, struck their vehicle head-on. The incident has devastated the Kearney community, sparking an outpouring of support.
A popular Billie Eilish fan page shared the story and a GoFundMe link for Aubrey’s recovery. Eilish herself commented, “Sending so much love to the families. So heartbreaking.”
All three teens were 18 years old and recent graduates of Kearney High School.
