ROCK PORT, Mo. - A 48-year-old man from Council Bluffs suffered serious injuries in a motorcycle crash. The Missouri State Highway Patrol says it happened Sunday around 9 p.m. on Highway AA, about three miles north of Rock Port.
The Patrol says the man was riding a 1984 Honda motorcycle southbound when he struck a deer, causing him to skid across the center line and off the road.
The man was initially transported to Fairfax Community Hospital before being airlifted to Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha.
