GALLATIN, Mo. - Steve McBee, a Gallatin farmer and star of the reality TV show "The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys" on Peacock, has pleaded guilty to federal crop insurance fraud.

The 52-year-old admitted to fraudulent activities between 2018 and 2020, resulting in a financial loss to the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

In court, McBee agreed to pay restitution and forfeit over $3.1 million to the government, with the total loss claimed by the government amounting to over $4 million.

The plea was accepted by Judge Stephen Bough, and McBee now awaits sentencing.
