JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - The annual Great Northwest Day at the Capitol returns next year, giving Northwest Missouri residents a direct voice in Jefferson City.
This two-day event, on February 4 and 5, brings together community leaders from 19 counties to spotlight regional priorities and showcase what Northwest Missouri has to offer.
The agenda includes introductions of the delegation on the House and Senate floors, a priorities panel session, and a keynote breakfast.
Tuesday evening’s Great Northwest Celebration is the event’s highlight, featuring county booths showcasing community strengths and allowing face-to-face interaction with legislators, elected officials, and state department members.
