JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - The Missouri Department of Agriculture is inviting high school sophomores to apply for the 2025 Missouri Agribusiness Academy, offering 30 students a chance to explore careers in agriculture.
The competitive program is open to members of 4H clubs, FFA chapters, and farm families across the state.
Participants will engage in a yearlong experience, including industry tours in Kansas City, volunteering at the Missouri State Fair, and meeting agriculture leaders in Jefferson City.
The program begins June 2-6tand provides students with hands-on exposure to agriculture-related careers and mentorship opportunities.
Since its launch in 1988, the Missouri Agribusiness Academy has graduated more than 1,100 students, fostering connections and inspiring the next generation of agricultural professionals.
Applications are due by February 1.
