MARYVILLE, Mo. - The City of Maryville has taken an important step toward shaping its future growth by approving an agreement with RDG Planning and Design for a new Comprehensive Plan.
The plan, last updated in 2012, has been instrumental in guiding land use decisions and securing over $26 million in grant funding since 2018.
City Manager Greg McDanel says RDG Planning and Design will lead the project through a 12-month process that includes public engagement.
A steering committee of community representatives, public surveys, workshops, and open houses will ensure widespread input.
Key areas addressed will include housing, transportation, economic development, and community facilities.
