MARYVILLE, Mo. - William Coy’s Farm to Table Restaurant in Maryville will close its doors for good after dinner service Saturday.
The announcement, shared on the restaurant’s Facebook page and through a city press release, expressed gratitude to the community for six years of support. The restaurant will remain open until 10 p.m. on its final day.
The closure follows a mutual decision between the city of Maryville and William Coy’s not to renew the restaurant’s lease at the Mozingo Event Center, where it has operated since 2018.
William Coy’s was the only third-party restaurant at Mozingo, operated by Brown Bread under a lease agreement that included monthly rent and sales tax obligations.
Head chef and current owner Mitchell Cosbey expressed pride in serving the community and optimism for future opportunities. The city plans to seek a new restaurant partner for the Mozingo Event Center in the coming months.
