MARYVILLE, Mo. - Downtown Maryville is ushering in the holiday season with the Yuletide Magic Festival this weekend.

The festivities begin Friday at 6 p.m. with the lighting of the courthouse square, followed by a lighted parade featuring Santa Claus and the Grinch.

The parade will travel south along Main Street from Franklin Park to the Downtown Pocket Park, where Santa will meet families. Businesses and organizations are invited to join the parade, and sign-ups are available online.

On Saturday, the holiday fun continues with the annual Holiday Shop Hop from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Downtown retailers will offer discounts, giveaways, snacks, and more, making it a perfect day to shop locally for holiday gifts.
