Tiffany Hughey will compete in the 400m at the USATF Indoor National Championships this weekend in Albuquerque, NM.

Northwest Missouri State track and field All-American Tiffany Hughey will go up against the best of the best that the United States has to offer this weekend.

Hughey will compete in the USATF Indoor National Championships in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The Lee's Summit Product will run in the women's 400 meter dash in the Opening Round Friday night at 7:50. The finals are set for Saturday afternoon at 3:49.

Hughey is a seven-time All-American at Northwest. She is scheduled to run in heat two of the 400m prelims Friday.

The 400m in Albuquerque will feature stiff competition: Quanera Hayes, who finished seventh in the same event at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics; Taylor Manson, a member of USA's 4x400m mixed relay team at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics; Alexis Holmes, the anchor leg of the 4x400m mixed relay team that won gold for the US in the 2023 World Championships in Budapest; and Talitha Diggs, the eighth place finisher in the 400m at the 2023 World Championships in Budapest.

Hughey ran the 400m in a personal-best 53.34 seconds at the Coach Richard Alsup Open in the Hughes Fieldhouse on January 20.
