Clarinda's Bazmore earns 1st MINK Player of the Week award

After a four-game losing streak, the Clarinda A's have started to turn things around winning three of four, and Sean Bazmore is a big reason for the change.

Bazmore, an infielder and pitcher for the A's, is the MINK League Player of the Week.

Through his first eight games, Bazmore leads the league with a .483 batting average (14-29). He's also 4th in RBIs and stolen bases.

Bazmore is enteirng his sophomore season at Angelina College in Lufkin, TX. In 50 games as a freshman, he batted .331 with a .414 on-base percentage, three home runs and 28 RBIs.

Bazmore and the A's are at home tonight to face the Carroll Merchants at 7pm.
