Ingram and Spoofhounds headline All-MEC soccer selections

Maryville High School girls soccer reeled in all-conference honors for eight student-athletes and head coach Stephanie Ingram.

Ingram, the first-year leader of the Spoofhound program, was named Midland Empire Conference Coach of the Year. Ingram guided Maryville to a 14-6-2 record, a 6-1 conference mark, and the Class 2 District 8 title.

Four Spoofhounds were All-MEC First Team selections – defenders Payton Kurz and Zava Stiff, midfielder Braelyn Hannigan, and forward Jalea Price. Miah Stoecklein was named second team all-conference midfielder. Makayla Yaple, Leah Wonderly, and Ryesen Stiens all received honorable mention.
