The Bearcats will face the 2023 national champion and 2024 national runner-up to start the 2024-25 season.
Fresh off of their best season in over a decade, Northwest Missouri State women's basketball will be tested right out of the gate next year.
The Bearcats will begin the 2024-25 campaign in the D2CCA Tip-Off Classic in St. Joseph against the 2023 national champion and the 2024 runner-up.
The Tip-Off Classic, hosted by the St. Joseph Sports Commission, will pit Northwest and Ashland University in the season opener on November 2. On the second night of the season, the 'Cats will meet Texas Woman's University.
The Bearcats posted a 23-win season and a berth in the NCAA Tournament last March – their first trip to the big dance since 2011.
