Rose Theater to host auditions for Spring production

MARYVILLE, Mo. - The Rose Theatre in Maryville is calling all 4th through 8th graders to audition for their upcoming melodrama, Spaghetti Western.

Set in the 1800s at the Hoot ‘n Holler Hotel, the play features colorful characters like Grannie Smith, Petunia Pearl, and the dastardly Duke Dreadful.

Auditions will be held at 120 West Third Street on Sunday, January 26, at 2 p.m. or Monday, January 27, at 6 p.m. Prospective actors only need to attend one session.

Performances are scheduled for March 20-22, 2025. There is a $35 participation fee for those cast in the show.
