MARYVILLE, Mo. - The City of Maryville has launched a major community-wide survey initiative aimed at addressing workforce and childcare needs across Nodaway County.
The study includes four targeted surveys designed for employers, childcare providers, local workforce members, and residents who work outside the county or are not currently employed.
City Manager Greg McDanel says the initiative is a critical step toward building a stronger community by hearing directly from businesses, workers, and childcare providers to develop solutions for employment and childcare challenges.
Survey responses will help shape a three-year action plan for the city and its partners.
Assistant City Manager Ryan Heiland encourages participation, emphasizing that each response helps create a clearer picture of the county’s workforce needs.
The surveys will remain open until March 7, with responses kept strictly confidential. More information and links to the surveys can be found on the City of Maryville’s website.
