EAGLEVILLE, Mo. - A 27-year-old woman from Bethany died in a head-on crash on U.S. Highway 69, two miles south of Eagleville.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 1992 Chrysler LeBaron traveling southbound skidded into the northbound lane around 4:57 p.m. last Friday, colliding head-on with a 2004 Ford F-150 that was pulling out of a private lot.
The female passenger in the Chrysler was pronounced dead at the scene by the Coroner about 30 minutes later.
An 18-year-old passenger in the Chrysler suffered serious injuries and was airlifted to Truman Medical Center in Kansas City.
The 22-year-old driver of the Chrysler and the 64-year-old driver of the Ford sustained moderate injuries and were transported to Harrison County Community Hospital. The crash remains under investigation.
