JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - Missouri’s blueberry growers will have a chance to learn the latest on disease management, soil health, and pruning techniques at the 2025 Missouri Blueberry School, set for February 21-22.
The event kicks off with a classroom session at the Darr Agricultural Center in Springfield, featuring speakers from the University of Missouri Extension Office, University of Arkansas, and Missouri State University.
The session will also include a farmer forum. On February 22, attendees will get hands-on experience with farm visits to Hoof and Harvest Farms in Rogersville and Persimmon Hill Farm in Lampe.
Interest in blueberry farming is growing across Missouri, with many producers turning to U-pick operations and agritourism as a way to increase profitability.
Organizers say the event is a great opportunity for growers to stay updated on industry trends.
