JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - The Missouri Department of Transportation is inviting high school students to apply for the 2025 Youth Transportation Conference, a free weeklong event in Jefferson City focused on STEM and transportation careers.

Held July 7-11 at Lincoln University, the conference is open to students in grades 9-12, including graduating seniors and current eighth graders.

Participants will engage in hands-on activities like bridge design and construction, learn about transportation safety, and take part in field trips and site tours. Applications are due by March 17, and up to 40 students will be selected.

Applicants must submit a completed form along with one or two letters of recommendation.
