Feb. 5, 2025St. Joseph, Mo. | By: Jeremy Werner
ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - Drivers in St. Joseph will have to wait a little longer for scheduled bridge work on I-229.
The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) has postponed the planned closure of the southbound I-229 ramp to northbound I-29 due to weather conditions.
Originally set for yesterday, the closure is now rescheduled for Friday, February 7, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. During that time, motorists will need to find an alternate route.
MoDOT reminds drivers to slow down, stay alert, and move over in work zones. Schedules are subject to change based on weather conditions. For the latest updates, visit modot.org or call 888-ASK-MO-DOT.
