Erica Buck honored by the Missouri Association for the Education of Young Children
A kindergarten teacher from Northwest Missouri State Univesity's Horace Mann Laboratory School was recently honored by the Missouri Association for the Education of Young Children.
Erica Buck received the 2025 Early Childhood Professional K through 3 Teacher Award. Buck was given the award during the group's annual conference earlier this month.
Buck joined the faculty in 2016, after graduating from Northwest Missouri State University with a Bachlors degree in elementary and early childhood education, and a Master's in teaching early childhood.
The Young Years annual conference is sponsered by the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. It is designed for educators working with young children and offers oppertunities to network and gain information that fosters growth among early learning profesionals.
