Evergy is hosting a public stakeholder meeting today

An area energy provider, Evergy is hosting a public stakeholder meeting today at 6 p.m. to review its annual five year captial expenditure plan. Evergy representatives will provide a brief presentation about planned generation transition and grid modernization expenditures, including new power plants and examples of specific projects that improve reliabilty and resiliency.

The meeting will be held virtually and open to stakeholders in Evergy's Missouri Metro and Missouri West service areas.

Join the meeting via computer or smart device through Mircosoft Teams or by calling into the meeting at 1-816-406-3989. There will also be a question and answer session at the conclusion of the presentation.
