Former Northwest Missouri State University President Doctor Dean Hubbard has died

Former Northwest Missouri State University President Doctor Dean Hubbard has died. Serving from 1984 to 2009, Hubbard was the longest-serving president in the University's history.

According to a university news release, the former administrator passed away Sunday evening at his Kansas City home, at the age of 85 after battling kidney disease.

To honor Hubbard, current University President, Dr. Lance Tatum has ordered U.S. and Missouri flags flows at half-staff on the school's campus through Friday, April 4.
