Maryville City Finance Director, Denise Town has announced plans to retire later this year

Longtime Maryvlle City Finance Director, Denise Town has announced plans to retire later this year. Town has served as Finance Director for the past 32 years.

Town graduated from Northwest Missouri State University in 1987 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. Town began her career in public accounting with Mayer Hoffman McCann in Kansas City in 188 and worked for Hardin Cummins Moss and Miller in Maryville before joining the City of Maryville administration team as Finance Director in 1992.

Town will retire in July with the recruitment process for her replacement to begin immediately.
