St. Joseph Library Seed Garden

Seed Garden

The St. Joseph Public Library's Seed Library is once again open at the Downtown and East Hills locations. There are a variety of herbs, flowers, and vegetables available, including beans, corn, cucumber, lettuce, melon, peas, radish, squash, and tomato seeds.

Anyone interested can take up to ten seed packets, but only up to two packets of each kind. Downtown Library Branch Manager, Jen Wildhagen says the seed garden is a beautiful thing for the community to have. The seed library will be open until seeds run out.

Seeds can be picked up at both the downtown and East Hills locations during normal library hours. Monday through Thursday from 9am to 8pm, Friday and Saturday from 9am to 5pm, and Sunday from 11am to 3pm.
