The Missouri Department of Conservation will hold two Hunter Education skills courses in the northwest region next month. The skills course is the second half of the hunter education certification process. Participants will need to have completed the knowledge portion of certification prior to attending the skills course. That can be done on-line for a fee, or at no cost by completing the chapter review questions in the student Hunter Education manual. Both can be found on the MDC's website or student manuals are available at any MDC office. The Hunter Education skills courses will be April 5th from 10AM to 2PM at the Northwest Technical School at 1515 South Munn Avenue in Maryville. The second class will be held April 12th from 9AM until 1PM at the MDC's Northwest Regional Office at 701 James McCarthy Drive on the Missouri Western State University campus in St. Joseph.
