The Northwest Missouri State University Board of Regents approved two master's degree programs during their recent meeting.
The Regents approved a Master of Public Administration degree to be offered in the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences. The degree is designed to help students with skills and knowledge in public service leadership.
The Northwest Board also approved a Master of Science degree in therapeutic recreation with emphasis options in recreation management and sport management.
Both master's degree programs will launch online with the therapeutic recreation degree program to begin next fall and the public administration degree in the spring of 2026.
