The final week of high school begins today for the Class of 2025 in Maryville.
Graduation is slated for Sunday, May 4th for a group pursuing opportunities all over the country.
From Raymond Zhou attending Columbia University in New York City after scoring a 36 on the ACT, to Anmal Prabakar among the 12 percent of students accepted into Washington University in St. Louis, and many others pursuing educations at Northwest Missouri State, Central Missouri, Mizzou and other area schools.
Others are entering the workforce with future plans laid out, and many young entreprenuers that have or will start their own small business.
Maryville interim superintendent Philip Pohren says the class of 2025 is ready for its next challenge.
"Very much a testament, not just to what has happened this year in Maryville Public Schools but I think it is a testament of what happens from beginning, kindergarden and all the way through. I know some of those kids are St. Gregs kids and they do a great job there. Some of the kids start out at Horace Mann, again, great job there. I think collectively we make and build better Spoofhounds.", says Pohren.
Maryville High School graduation is 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon inside Bearcat Arena on the Northwest campus.
