Maryville was showcased at the 2025 Main Street Now Conference

Maryville's Farmer's Market was showcased earlier this month at the 2025 Main Street Now Conference in Philadelphia. Downtown Maryville Executive Director DeAnn Davison and Market Vendor Coordinator Autumn Quimby presented a program called "Fresh Finds: How Farmers' Markets Spark Growth". Davison says they were able to share how the Maryville Market impacts economic development, community engagement and small business growth in the region.

"It was really an honor for Autumn and I to speak at the national conference in order to spread all of the wonderful things happening in this community. A lot of what has happened at the market has been able to engage the citizens and community in order to bring them into our downtown.", says Davison.

Davison says his year's Downtown Maryville Market season gets underway on Saturday, May 10th with "Spring Into Fun" with vendors, live music and kids' activities around the courthouse square from noon until six pm. The regular market begins on Saturday, May 17th and will be held every Saturday from 8am to noon through September at the Nodaway Valley Bank parking lot at the corner of 4th and Buchanan.
