Recap of Stanberry Board of Education meeting

The Stanberry R-II Board of Education held its regular meeting recently, highlighting board reorganization and district updates.

According to a report from the Stanberry School District, Brent Jennings was re-elected Board President, with Keith McQuinn named Vice-President for the 2025–2026 school year. Teacher representatives Kali Newcomer, Susie Wiederholt, and Liz Simbo were recognized for their dedication.

Stanberry Superintendent Dr. John Davison shared updates from the Missouri School Boards’ Association, including trends in teacher retention and the upcoming MSBA Summer Summit in June.
