Ribbon-cutting ceremony for new Performing Arts Center at Savannah High School

The Savannah School District will hold a grand opening for the new Performing Arts Center at Savannah High School this Friday. A ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held at 5:00 PM outside the PAC’s main entrance. The public is invited to attend.

This modern facility gives students access to a dedicated theater for the first time, along with upgraded classrooms for band, choir, theater, and speech & debate. It’s part of a larger renovation project that includes a new hallway, updated parking, an auxiliary gym, ADA-compliant bleachers, and improved classrooms for art, ag, and shop.

After the ceremony, a guided open house will follow, highlighting select new areas of the school.

The open house ends at 6:30 PM, ahead of the 7:00 PM performance of Radium Girls by the Savannah High School Theater Department.

Guests not attending the play will be asked to exit after the open house. All entrances and parking areas are ADA accessible.
