All are welcome to the Nodaway County Cattleman's Association's cook-off
The Nodaway County Cattleman's Assocation is holding a cook-off at Mozingo Lake Park this Saturday evening. The public is welcome to attend and sample some of the finest smoked beef brisket our region has to offer. Jospeh Frueh is President of the Nodaway Cattlemen and says the organization is made up of local ranchers and beef supporters.
This year's competition features twenty-one teams, all locals competing to cook the finest smoked brisket, beans, and beef ribs.
Three judges determine the winner, and all the remaining food becomes supper for the assembled crowd. Dinner is served at 7 PM on the 31st at the Mozingo Lake Multipuprose Building. Frueh says it should be a feast.
